USA Boxing New England (The New England Association, Inc.) is the governing body of amateur boxing in the states of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island under the authority of United States Amateur Boxing, Inc. (USA Boxing), Colorado Springs, Colorado, and the Ted Stevens Olympic and Amateur Sports Act. The objectives of the New England Association are to foster, develop, promote, and coordinate recreational and competitive amateur boxing opportunities for all member athletes and participants.

Saturday, October 2nd at Melrose Memorial Hall, 590 Main St, Melrose, MA

AGE DETERMINATION BY DATE OF BIRTH:
Elite = 1/1/1982-12/05/2003
Youth = 1/1/2004-12/31/2005
Junior = 1/1/2006-12/31/2007
Intermediate = 1/1/2008-12/31/2009
Bantam = 1/1/2010-12/31/2011

THIS IS AN ADVANCING TOURNAMENT for ELITE (19-40), YOUTH (17/18yo) and JUNIOR (15/16yo) BOXERS.
Winners in the Elite, Youth & Junior Divisions will compete at the USA Boxing National Tournament in December 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana (minimum bout requirements will apply).
Novice, Intermediate, Bantam, and Pee Wee boxers do not advance.

Medical Form Requirements 

All athlete members are required to have a current annual sports clearance physical attached to their passbook prior to competing in any USA Boxing sanctioned events. The medical clearance form must indicate the athlete is “fit to box” and must be signed by a doctor. Signed medical forms are valid for 12 months from the date of approval by the doctor.
